Crop party at Cassie's house

Last night we had a crop party at my daughers house.  I have 6 daughters and the were all there and we had the best time.   Cassie wanted us to make something for Valintine's Day so I wanted to make a box to put candy in for my husband.  I think it turned out ok.  But I learned some things that I would do different so it was a good expreince for me.

Here is a close up of the heart.  It has jewels on it. that is the part I like the most.  We also had to make cards for a sick friend that is having surgery this week.  We made two each so that others from my daughters work could pick one to give her also.  But most of all we had a great time together.

Finished up Cake boxes!

Here are my finished cake boxes.  It took me a little while to get them done.  I am going out of town for a few days so I wanted to get them done before I left.

Here is a close up of the ones I turned the flower peddles up.  I love them and it will be hard to give them away.

Piece of Cake

I am making 32 of the cake slices to give to the women in my church.  I found the pattern in Paper Crafts Mag.  I really loved it when I saw it and I made one.  I have already posted the first one I made.  It turned out so cute that I wanted to make more, but the when I started counting the women at church I found more and more that I needed to make for.

So I printed the tops off my computer on white cardstock.  Put them in the cuttlebug and punched the edge.
The bottom I printed them out on the back of the paper that I wanted to use in my computer.  I had to cut the cardstock down because it was 12"x12".  After I made the boxes I used my cricut to cut out the flowers and leaves.  I am not sure which cardridge I used because I was trying different ones.  I curled the edge of the flowers and leaves to give them a more natural look.

I then cut out a small heart and put a small hole in it at the top.  I inked around the edge of the heart and stamped a small heart in the middle.  I did this because I am giving it to them for Feb. 14.  I tied a ribbon that matched the color in the bottom of the flower and pot dot it to the top of the box.

The flowers turned out real pretty.

It looks good enough to eat but I will put some chocolate in them so that they will have something sweet to eat.  I love chocolate and I always love to give it.  I hope you enjoyed seeing my pretty cakes as much as I loved making them.  When I get done with all of them I will take a pic and post it.  Have a great night and I will post soon.

IceCream Card

Here is an ice cream cone card I made with the gyspy.  I welded the two ice cream cones together after I flip one of them.  Then  I cut it out at 5".  I used my i-rock to put a little bling on it and cut the cherry out of glitter red paper.   I really loved it and also my granddaughter.  She wanted me to give it to her so she could eat it.

I have also been working on some treat boxes that look like cake slices, 30 of them, so when I get them all done I will post them also.  I am making them for church.  I hope the ladies will like them.  My husband will be out of town for a few days so after my work is done in the house I get to craft.  So much fun!!!!

Little girl hair Bows

I love this bow.  So cute and fun to make with all the differnt colors.  I think little girls need to have fun with their bows and this one really does it.

This one I had a dress that I wanted to make a bow for so I pick out the colors to match.  I actually made two so she could have one on each side of her head.

These are my Lady Bug bows.  I love them.  And so much fun to make.

Live, Laugh, Love. Card

I went to Hobby Lobby with my daughter Cassie today to help her find some tools for her craft room.  We had so much fun.  I was so inspired with all the pink stuff all around that I wanted to make a card with pink.

card is 6"x4 1/2"  I trimed a little off the bottom and punched it with a Martha Stewart punch.
The White mate was cute at 5 1/2" x 3" and I put it in the cuddle bug with the pokadot embossing folder.  I then rubbed a pink ink pad over the dots and around the edge.
I cut the hearts out with my Gypsy using the Gypsy wonderings at 1 1/2" one with pink and the shadow in red..  I put it all together and used some pink and white ribbon to tie a bow under the hearts.

I use My Pink Stamper stamps Pinka-licious,Live, Laugh, Love.  The paper I used was Martha Stewart playful pink.  Which is 2 sided so the inside als has a pretty print.  I hope you enjoyed this. I am going to try an make sme bows for my granddaughters so I hope to post those also.
